TM Brown was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She currently lives in NE Pennsylvania.   She has a BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineer.  She has two grown children, Michael and Melissa.  When she’s not writing or working her day job, you can find her planning or creating her latest landscaping project.

Book Titles

A Life Not My Own was her first book.  Her memoirs take readers on the journey of her troubled childhood and exciting young adult life. 


Struggles of the Women folk was recently released.  It is the story of a young black girl growing up in the South during the 1940’s who dreams of a better life.  There is heartaches, loss, romance and a lot of drama.  Her one constant is her faith.  Don’t expect a clean Christian novel. The dialogue is authentic, raw engaging and emotionally stimulating. 

·         The story is loosely based on stories TM’s grandmother shared with her as a child.

·         You’ll need to get your tissues out for this one.

Just Between Us is a short story collection that she collaborated with several amazing independent authors.  They share their true life stories with the intent to provide hope to readers who maybe experiencing similar challenges in life.

TM’s readers are her primary source of inspiration.  They are ALWAYS asking for more and she wants to give it to them!  She is currently working on a sequel to ‘Struggles of the Women Folk” that expands upon one of the main characters.

    • Thanks Kathryn! BEWARE, most readers find that once they begin reading my books, they can’t stop until they are on the last page and still..they want more!
