“YES, I SAID IT!”

I know I’ve been away for a while but you’ve gotten to enjoy some really great posts from other author friends of mine.  Although I was happy to introduce other authors and their work to you, I’m sorry you weren’t getting your usual dose of RANTING me.  The reason that I’ve been a tad bit absent, is because I’ve been spending so much time over at my new place (although, I still love you all here at my old place!).  RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB has taken off and let me tell you, it’s been, and still is, a wild ride!  We are having so much fun over there and if you haven’t joined yet, you’re missing out on a lot.

My readers (you all) have been so good to me since I jumped on this social media scene.  I mean literally, some of you guys have been with me since day one, when this blog hit the airwaves back in April of 2013.  Since my anniversary month is approaching, I want to celebrate all of you and give back, especially to the followers of my blog, here at WATCH NONNIE WRITE!

My latest release is entitled SUGARCOATIN’ IS FOR CANDY & PACIFYIN’ IS FOR KIDS! I originally planned this as a FREE download but it seems Amazon is “forcing” me to charge something for it.  Well, for the next 5 days “SUGARCOATIN’ & PACIFYIN'” is FREE!  After Saturday, 3/8/14, it will be almost FREE at just $.99, but I want you all to get FREE COPIES because it was intended as my gift to you.

I have taken the best posts from this site and I’ve put them all in this book.  I know some of you are under the impression (based on some of my posts) that I am pretty outspoken, and you would be pretty accurate with that assessment of me via my written words.  I don’t think being outspoken is a bad thing, though, nor do I feel as if it’s something to boast about, but I do appreciate anything which comes in the form of “honesty,” and more than not, that’s what you get when you’re dealing with outspoken folks such as that one, Nonnie Jules.

Down here in the South we like to say “I don’t bite my tongue…” (by the way, this is the most comical of the posts in the book).  That phrase tends to imply that when we have something to say, more than likely, you’re going to hear it!  Many people walk around carrying really heavy burdens because there are things on their minds that they want to get off, but feel they can’t, won’t OR are even fearful of saying. I don’t live my life that way.  I feel that if it needs to be said, then who better to say it than me!

Inside the covers of “SUGARCOATIN’ IS FOR CANDY & PACIFYIN’ IS FOR KIDS” you will find the best of my thoughts, put on paper.  If you’re typically shy and timid, it is my hope that you walk away with a bit more strength to get things out, and off your chest when you feel them start to settle in.  I speak my truths and I want you to do the same.  I know when I’ve been good but I can also claim and own my wrongs, when I know I’ve been bad…I’d like for you to follow my lead there as well.

People have asked why I’m such a hard book reviewer.  I can only say that I am a perfectionist in every thing that I do, especially when it comes to writing.  Now, take notice that I didn’t say that I was perfect {no one is}, but I do strive very hard to get as close to it as humanly possible. I make mistakes just like the next person, even in my own writing, but the true measure of a good/great writer is their own awareness of those mistakes and their desire to correct them as soon as it’s brought to their attention.   In this regards, if I come across your book and it needs some fixin’, then I’m going to tell you.  I don’t, nor will I ever SUGARCOAT in this regards.  I wish for everyone the true freedom of expression and release in their honest measures of others.  You may have seen only my 3, 4 & 5 star reviews, that is because the others I choose to not post, but I do attempt to correspond personally with the authors…taking the time to share my thoughts and my critiques.  Some aren’t happy (or at all appreciative) that the time is being taken to give them honest feedback, especially when time is an extremely valuable commodity in our lives. (Did I also mention that I don’t PACIFY grown-ups?)  I suppose some would much rather the posting of a very negative 1 star review.  I just don’t know.  (And do me a favor, don’t be a poor writer yourself, then have the audacity to go and give someone else a negative critique of their work.  I don’t particularly like pots calling kettles black and for some, I would suggest a quick peek in a mirror).  I’m just saying.

All that being said, I would like for you to run over to Amazon and download your FREE copy of “SUGARCOATIN’ IS FOR CANDY & PACIFYIN’ IS FOR KIDS!” today thru Saturday, 3/8.  (On Sunday the cost will return to a mere $.99…which in my book still = FREE).  This little book (approximately 100 pages on Kindle) was put together for your reading pleasure as well as to enlighten in some regards, to get you to ACT in others. If you enjoy the reading, please return and follow my blog here as this is where that book stems from.  Also, I’m asking that you post a review on Amazon when you’re done.

I must go now but I will have to admit that I have enjoyed (and missed) our little conversations together.  This felt really good!  Oh, and the next time you have something to get off your chest, yet someone makes you feel as if you shouldn’t…please remind them that  SUGARCOATIN’ IS FOR CANDY (think M & M’s) and PACIFYIN’ is definitely for KIDS (think newborns)!  I will see you on the other side of a book and a review!
