I Have That Same Dream… #RRBC #RWISA
Today is the day that we celebrate that great man, who, with perfect eloquence made us focus on the fact that “all men are created equal.”
I could very easily just post the words to that famous “I HAVE A DREAM…” speech, but, I think that you will feel it more deeply, if I share with you those words, via his most powerful delivery.
And I’m also sharing the actual speech because, believe it or not, some have never even heard of it before.
REST IN PEACE, DR. MLK. THERE ARE THOSE OF US, BLACK AND WHITE, STRIVING TO KEEP YOUR DREAM ALIVE.

I teach this speech as part of my curriculum in middle school. I think it’s important that the next generation know about MLK and his dream. 🙂

The impact of this amazing man’s words and courage was felt deeply here in Australia. His tragic loss stunned our nation. His wisdom reached far beyond man’s self-imposed borders.
Thank you, Nonnie, for reminding us to seek out that dream.🌹

Hi Nonnie. I just got back from an annual celebration of Martin Luther King at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. The church goers are becoming more diverse which is as it should be. He was a great man who managed to transcend all religions. Here we are Catholics and paying tribute to a protestant. I have always been struck by that. Its like the “elephant in the room. ” LOL
